Avril Lavigne's San Diego Concert Canceled

Contrary to what has previously been announced, Avril Lavigne's San Diego concert date for The Best Damn Tour has been Canceled. Cox Arena has confirmed that the concert will not be rescheduled for a later date. Avril is suffering problems with her throat and obviously hopes to be back to normal soon after her vocal rest. According to Canadians.ca, Avril Lavigne is the most famous and popular Canadian celebrity!!! Okay, okay... so it's not exactly shocking news (I'm reminded of my recent trip to the United States where someone asked me, "Is it true that Avril's face is on your money in Canada?"), but it's still a pretty sweet honour! Avril beat our Pamela Anderson, Romeo Dallaire, Shania Twain, and Nelly Furtado to claim first place. Also on the list is Avril's hubby's band Sum 41 who came in at #7. |
